Universal theme park Orlando

Universal Orlando park is one of the most-most popular and famous amusement parks of Orlando.

Universal park was opened in Orlando in 1990, and it is the second biggest theme entertaining park there, after, of course, Walt Disney World park Florida.

Today the Universal Orlando resort includes in itself three wonderful theme parks:

Discounts for the buying the tickets to Universal parks and an opportunity of entering parks 1 hour before the official opening, are offered to the hotels’ guests. Guests can get to parks by walking, or by the water tram.

Generally, there are 4 Universal parks in the world: first one is located in Orlando, Florida, second – in California, third – in Japanese capital Tokyo, fourth one – in Singapore. Universal park of Orlando is the hugest among them all.

Universal Studios park consists of two parts: Universal Studios Florida and Universal Island of Adventure.

Universal Orlando resort – theme park of the Universal Florida, where all the attractions and all the entertainments are dedicated to different movies and animations of Universal Studious: Jurassic Park, Marvel Super Hero, Men in Black, Terminator, King-Kong, Jaws, Revenge of the Mummy, Transformers, Back to the Future, Hulk, Spider Man, Minions, Shrek, Toy Story… all that comes to live right in front of the eyes of the Universal resort park’s visitors!

In Universal you can feel yourself like at the movie shooting, finding out about the subtleties of the cinema’s masterpieces from inside, you can see a parade with super heroes and become a member of your favourite Universal Studios’ blockbuster!

In 2010 Universal Park opened a new, especially beloved and visited theme park – the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, based on the world-famous Harry Potter movies and Joanne Rowling’s books.

In a Wizarding World of Harry Potter you are able to walk in a Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade village, visiting the real Ollivander’s Wand Shop, Gringotts Bank, shops with things for wizarding and joking, Sweet Kingdom shop and Filch’s pantry, restaurants and hotel-pub. There is even a working owls’ post, where you can send letter with special stamp – with an emblem of Hogsmeade village.

The Hogwarts castle really reproduces the wizarding school from the movies, with the studying classes, headmaster’s cabinet, Hagrid’s hut, interactive attraction “Flight on a Hippogriff” and “Harry Potter and Forbidden Journey”.

Between the Hogsmeade village and Hogwarts castle runs the Hogwarts-express.

Walking-entertaining Universal CityWalk also belongs to Universal park.

At the Universal CityWalk are placed numerous restaurants and souvenir shops, aquapark Wet’n’Wild Orlando, which is closed at that moment, after the 39 years of working, and the hotels of Universal park: Portofino Bay Hotel, The Royal Pacific Resort and Hard Rock.

The entrance ticket to Universal Parks costs from $ 92 to $ 110 per 1 park for 1 day, depending on the season and the number of parks chosen

Universal Park offers a “flexible” system of discounts for buying the ticket to two entertaining parks at the same time, or to two entertaining parks and water park Volcano Bay Orlando, if you are buying tickets for few days: the more days you are buying, the cheaper every day is.

Entrance ticket for 1 guest in 3 parks: Islands of Adventure + Universal Studios + Volcano Bay aquapark costs $ 205

Entrance ticket Park-to-Park for 1 guest in 2 parks: Universal Studios + Island of Adventure, costs $ 165

Entrance ticket for 1 guest to any of the 2 parks: Universal Studios or Island of Adventure, costs $ 110

Entrance one-day ticket for 1 guest to Volcano Bay water park costs $ 67

With buying entrance tickets to Universal parks for few days, every day will be cheaper! For example, while buying a three-days ticket to one park, every day will cost $ 74 ($ 222 for 3 days), or ticket to two parks – one day will cost $ 92 ($ 276 for 3 days) – with no time limitations of staying in parks.

That’s why it is good to plan everything out before buying tickets, and to watch the seasonal discounts of the Universal Parks!

A little advice from personal experience: don’t save money on buying the Universal Express Plus Pass – a ticket, which will allow you to pass all the Universal parks’ attractions without queue, through the separate hall. The cost of such ticket – for both parks – is from $ 69.99

It is strictly forbidden to give your ticket to anybody else, because on an entrance, special people will scan your fingerprints, and after that procedure, your ticket will be attached only to you.

Universal park works from 9:00 to 20:00

Shopping-entertaining, loud and musical zone CityWalk works from 11:00 to 2:00 – there you can have a calm quiet dinner and buy liked souvenirs even after the main park’s closing.
