City of Epcot park, a part of Walt Disney World resort Florida, was originally planned by Walt Disney as the utopian town of the future; here had to be collected various new ideas, technologies and innovations of humanity.

Name EPCOT – is an abbreviation of Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Epcot park was opened in 1982, and it is the second from four theme Walt Disney’s parks: its area takes 300 hectares.
Epcot city was projecting under dome with the climate control; from above, it should be built according to the radial principle: central circle – commercial and business buildings, next ring – social organisations, and last third ring – residential areas. Transport connections – electric trains on one track, and car traffic under the ground. The city was planned as an example of “future city” for 20 000 humans-citizens. But, the main Disney’s idea of that “future city” was never realised.
At the present day, Epcot – is a theme entertaining park, which consists of two parts: World Showcase and Future World.
On a World Showcase’s part are founded 11 pavilions of different countries of the world: Mexica, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, Morocco, France, Great Britain and Canada, and in each of the you can see the typical for state buildings, natural and cultural specialities, try national kitchen! In the centre of World Showcase there is a Lagoon Lake.

In a part of “Future World” are, mostly, located modern entertainments and attractions: The Spaceship of Earth, The Universe of Energy, The Space Mission, Imagination, The Seas with Nemo, racing karts track, breath-taking simulators and shows, dinosaurs and journeys through the human’s body.
One of the most popular simulator-attraction is called “Flight to Mars”, where you can feel yourself the astronaut on a training base with spaceships restarts, weightlessness and modelling the flight to space.

Before the park’s closing, its guests have opportunity to enjoy a great firework.
Park’s symbol – “Spaceship of Earth” – geodesic sphere, which is also one of the Epcot’s attractions.
